Purpose: Measures skills in installing and configuring NAI, integrating Generative AI (GenAI) applications, and managing AI agents.
Availability: Scheduling for the exam (version 6.10) began in late 2025.
Target Audience: IT administrators, AI/ML platform engineers, and DevOps professionals.

Core Knowledge Domains

The exam NCP-AI 6.10 focuses on five primary areas of AI infrastructure management:
Deployment: Installing NAI core components, configuring DNS, and managing security certificates.
Configuration: Onboarding users, importing Large Language Models (LLMs), and setting up API endpoints.
Day 2 Operations: Monitoring performance metrics, selecting optimal LLMs, and identifying access anomalies.
Troubleshooting: Resolving cluster health check failures and diagnosing model import or endpoint issues.
Application Integration: Connecting applications to NAI endpoints and validating their performance.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed, Nutanix recommends the following experience:
Experience: 3+ years in virtualized infrastructure and 1+ year with cloud-native technologies (Linux CLI).
Knowledge: Proficiency with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI), GPUs, and Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS).
Prerequisite Skills: Knowledge equivalent to a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), as NAI is a Kubernetes-based application
